Escape Room Cards: the block that sells a room at a glance
The room card is the unit of an escape-room site. Here is what it has to carry, and the small choices that decide whether a visitor clicks book.

A room card is the smallest complete unit of an escape-room website. A visitor scans a wall of them, forms a shortlist in seconds, and clicks one. If the card does not answer the obvious questions, the visitor leaves to go find them, and often does not come back.
What every card has to carry
Difficulty, player count, duration, and price, all visible without a click. Those four decide whether a room fits the group before anyone reads a word of story. A real photo of the actual set, not stock art, does the emotional half of the job. The theme name and a single line of atmosphere finish it.
The mistake we see most is hiding those facts one level down, behind a Read more. Every extra click between a visitor and a decision is a place to lose them. The card exists so the decision happens on the card.
The small choices that matter
The book button lives on the card, not only on the detail page, so a decided visitor never has to hunt. Difficulty reads as a simple scale a first-timer understands, not an inside-baseball rating. And the group-size line is honest about minimums, because a couple discovering at checkout that a room needs four players is a booking you just lost.
