A PPC agency near you, managing Google Ads for local service businesses. Win the AI-run auction.
Google Ads is an AI auction now: AI Max, broad match, and ads inside the AI Overview. We're the PPC agency near you that builds local-service accounts to win it, from plumbers to escape rooms, and then holds the return for years, not one screenshot month.

Why owners keep us
Built for the 2026 auction, aligned to your return.
The auction is AI-run now. Three things separate an account built to win it from one that just spends.
The return holds
We judge an account on the number that is still there a year later, not the one month you would screenshot. That is the whole game.
A flat fee, aligned
Management is part of the flat $590 a month plan, not a slice of your spend, so we win when the money comes back, never when it climbs.
Brand split out
Brand searches are fenced off and reported on their own, so the return you read is the cold traffic we actually went out and won.
Win the AI-run auction
Google Ads in 2026 is an AI auction. We build the account for it.
The account is no longer a pile of exact-match keywords. AI Max is the new default, Dynamic Search Ads are being retired into it, and ads now serve inside AI Overviews where exact match cannot reach. We build the way the auction now rewards: intent-grouped broad match fed by Smart Bidding, value-based bidding to a target return, and the brand budget fenced off on its own.
How we build a Google Ads account in 2026: conversion volume sets the granularity, feed the AI enough signal, keep the brand budget fenced.
AI Max is the default now. Google is retiring Dynamic Search Ads into it, with the auto-migration set for September 2026.
Search Engine Land, 2026 (searchengineland.com)
Ads now serve inside AI Overviews, which sit on top of about half of Google searches, and people click the links below them far less often.
Pew Research Center, 2025 (pewresearch.org)
We adopt AI Max deliberately, not blindly. Independent tests have found it can underperform the older match types, so we run it against what already works before we trust it.

What changed
What worked in 2024 is not what wins in 2026.
The levers that ran a good account two years ago are the ones Google is now automating away. The discipline moved from picking keywords to feeding the machine the right signal and judging it on value, not volume.

What most agencies still run
The auction moved to AI. Most Google Ads management didn't.
Google now runs the auction with AI: AI Max, broad match, and value-based bidding. Most agencies still run a 2022 playbook and bill a slice of your spend, which pays them to spend more of it. We build for how the auction works now, and line our fee up with your return instead.

Straight answers
The questions owners actually ask before they spend.
How much does Google Ads management cost for a small business?
It's part of the flat $590 a month Growth Plan, not a cut of your ad spend. Google Ads management is part of Massive Impact's flat $590 a month Growth Plan, not a percentage of your ad spend. A percentage fee quietly rewards the agency for spending more of your money, which is the opposite of what you want. A flat fee lines us up with you: we win when the spend comes back, not when it climbs. Your media budget stays separate and always yours to set.
What is a good ROAS for Google Ads?
It depends on your margin, but a good account holds its return, month after month. A good return on ad spend depends on your margins, so there's no single magic number that fits every business. The better question is whether the return holds. One peak month proves nothing, because anyone can catch a lucky month. What proves an account works is a return that stays strong across a full year of different seasons. We managed one escape-room account to a roughly 22X return sustained across 15 months, which is the kind of durability worth judging an account on.
Why is my Google Ads spend not converting?
Usually the structure: brand mixed with non-brand, no negatives, and ads pointed at a page that can't convert. When Google Ads spend isn't converting, the cause is almost always structural, not the size of the budget. The three usual culprits are brand and non-brand campaigns mixed together so you can't tell what's working, a thin or missing negative-keyword list burning money on the wrong searches, and ads pointed at a page that can't turn a click into a booking. Fix the structure and the landing page first, then judge the spend.
How is Google Ads different from SEO?
Ads rent your position and stop the day you stop paying. SEO builds an asset you keep. Google Ads and SEO are two different engines. Ads rent you a position at the top of the results and stop producing the day you stop paying, which makes them fast and controllable. SEO builds an organic asset you own, slower to earn but it keeps producing when the budget pauses. They aren't rivals. We run both together so you're never dependent on a single channel, and so paid can carry demand today while organic compounds underneath it.
How long until Google Ads starts working?
It can produce inside weeks, but the durable return comes from months of disciplined tuning. Google Ads can start producing bookings within the first few weeks, because you're buying position rather than earning it. The durable return is a different thing. It comes from months of disciplined tuning: pruning wasted searches, splitting brand from non-brand, moving budget toward what returns, and rebuilding seasonal campaigns as the calendar turns. The first campaign is a starting point, not the finished account.
The track record
Double-digit return, held across account after account.
One good screenshot proves nothing. Here is the durable number for each account, what it averaged and for how long, so you can judge the pattern rather than a peak. Every figure is read straight off the client's own Google Ads reports.

BrainXcape: avg since Dec 2022, grown from ~5X to a steady 18X to 32X band, toughest US market~24X
Game Over Calgary: avg held across 15 months, one location to two~22X
Solve The Room: avg and median both ~10X across 15 straight months, lean budget~10X
Fox in a Box Tucson: avg across a year, part of a franchise network we run~9X

Murfreesboro: avg across 4 straight months, no losing month, lean budget~8.5X
The Escape Adventures: avg across 15 months, revenue up year over year every single month~6.3X
BrainXcape leads on tenure and is quoted narrative-only: its Google Ads proof card is held back right now because a deliberate top-of-page pivot walked the trailing months down, and we will not ship a card that misreads as decay.
Game Over Calgary: roughly 22X on average across 15 months, the return that held, not a single screenshot month.Straight off the platform: an account month rolling up to a 10.57X return, campaign names blurred, the number left exactly as Google reports it.Another account, another real export: a 19.68X return on 135 purchases at $11.71 each, campaign names blurred, the return untouched.
Figures from monthly Google Ads reports. We lead on the sustained average and the tenure, never a peak: Keith's 42X on one campaign is his own on-camera words, and we treat it as support. These are three accounts we held, not a promise that every account performs the same.
The same return, rendered from the live API, account by account.
Each card is real, unedited Google Ads data pulled straight from the API, then anonymized to the business model. Brand search is excluded from every headline number and shown only as a footnote. Spend and revenue are withheld, so the return is a clean ratio of tracked value to cost.
BrainXcape is our longest-tenure Google account and leads the chart above on the years, but its card is deliberately left out of this wall right now, per our own honesty rules.
The method
Four levers that win the AI auction.
None of it is clever. It's the discipline most accounts skip.
01
Split brand from non-brand
Brand searches and the traffic we go out and win are separated, and reported separately.
Mixed together, brand traffic inflates the number and hides what's working. Split apart, the return you read is the traffic we actually won.
02
Budget follows the return, every month
Money moves toward whatever returned that month, across Google and Facebook both.
On Game Over we shift budget by what's returning, and the account held around 22X for 15 months.
03
Wire every click to the booking
A click has to become a purchase, not a visit, so the ads land on a page built to book.
Lost Reality's spend runs straight into the booking flow, which is why a lean budget still returns.
04
Cut the waste continuously
Negative keywords, geo tuning and day-parting, worked every month, never set once.
At $33 a click, the waste you don't cut is the margin you lose. It adds up fast.
The creative is ours
We make the ads, not just run them.
A click is only as good as what it lands on, and a campaign is only as good as the ad that earns it. These are real ads we designed for the accounts above, built before a dollar of media, not stock templates pulled off a shelf.
Ads shown as design proof. Performance is reported per account elsewhere on this page and is never implied by a creative alone.
The weight of it
Not one lucky account. A pattern held for years.
The reason the return holds is that we have held it, across many accounts and through many seasons, some of them for half a decade.
Since Dec 2020our longest-running Google Ads relationship, the Fox in a Box franchise network, held across three US cities
Double digitsthe Google Ads return we have sustained across multiple escape-room accounts, averaged over the full run, not a peak

Practice what we preach
The ads are only as good as the page they land on.
A click is wasted on a page a crawler can't read and a customer can't book from, so we build every landing page the way we build our own site: server-rendered, fast, and open to every engine. This is the crawler access our own pages ship with, read straight from the site's configuration.

Where it fits
Google captures the demand. It is one engine of four.
Google Ads is the paid-search half of Traffic, one part of the Growth System. It works hardest next to the engine that creates demand, and it needs a site and follow-up worth the click.
No. A percentage fee rewards us for spending more of your money, which points us the wrong way. Management is part of the flat Growth Plan, so we win when the spend comes back, not when it goes up.
Can you guarantee a specific ROAS?
No honest agency can, because the auction isn't ours to control. What we control is the structure, the negatives, the landing page, and where the budget goes, and we show you the account so you can read the return yourself.
Who owns the Google Ads account?
You do, always. If we ever part ways you keep every campaign and every bit of conversion history. We manage the account, we don't hold it hostage.
Do I need a new website to run ads?
Not always, but the ads are only as good as where they land. If the page can't convert, we'll tell you that before you spend a dollar, because sending paid clicks to a page that leaks is the fastest way to lose money.
